I’m fairly sure they would have notified everyone in game that it was going to get shutdown, Abyss runners can understand the loss but people running sites in WH’s and Null should have just left the site when the notification happened.
It’s an old EVE tradition … after 15 years + beta it kinda piles up.
Also bored at work as we’re out of session because the assembly server crashed 
CCP’s hamsters aren’t the only ones get eaten today …
