Yeah the EVE haters are in rage because CCP compensated us with SP today. Can only hope theyâlll eventually be found and spend a nice 5 years in prison.

No, they donât always say it. And to be fair, when I was trying to relog the launcher showed behaviour that I would very much expect during a DDoS. Some replies still coming through, most being dropped. Online chars already had weird slowing down of things shortly before relog didnât work anymore. If the server was just suddenly offline or the people online had normal experience, while others couldnât log in, Iâd agree with you. But this behaviour looks legit like someone clogging up the server.

i was in combat (PVE) while this happening, i lost my ship and cargo because of thisâŚ

CCP posts blog stating how well they are prepared for any future DDoS attack.
Get attacked same day and immediately game crashes.
âŚquickly now, letâs form a new team to examine the old new team to prevent DDoS attacks!

they already have enough experience with DDoS and thus wouldnât be investigating the issue but look straight into this .
DDos is a general term for a wide amount of attack szenarios, so âenough experience in DDosâ isnt possible. And there is no light bulb on the system telling them âDDoSâ.

Really tired of that stuff already. I have some experience with other mmos and never saw that level of problems: lag, chat shenenigans, client crash. In a game with full loot system. Now i need to fill reimburstment tickets from two accounts. Will they reimburst non burned blue modules if ship died on a fw mission?
On the day of your piece (among other things) about these attacks. Coincidence? I think not.

Hm ärgerlich⌠Just a wild guess: if it is possible try restarting your router. Maybe during the attack you tried too often to connect and your IP is blacklisted now or something. Getting a new IP might solve the issue.
