I am sure that they are doing all they can to get things fixed but…
So is there any reason for hope?
USA East Coast here, game is still unplayable. Either I can’t log in or I disconnected once logged in.

Pretty sure I am just repeating things here but - have you actually stopped to think this isn’t CCP/EVE related? I am (just to prove to myself I am not imagining it) currently running 7 clients with the chars actively doing things, changing maps etc and am having 0 probelms. None. I am in the UK and have no problems such as being described here.
EVE servers are in London (also UK btw) and I am having none of these problems. But you in Murica are.
Maybe - just maybe - there is something here for you to think about?
also guys please dont get all pissed off because there are issues, life is too short. We dont know the extend of the attack or the problems, how wide spread it is, so many variables, sure it is frustrating, but trust me, I have been far more frustrated in the past for things that were ccp’s fault. anyone remember when they released red moon rising? that was a week of “are you kidding me ok just set a long skill and come back in a week” I am sure that ccp will take care of all of tranquility after they sort out these issues and compensate as they feel should be done. till then just post good information, location/(general) time and symptoms. And let the poor dev get a good cup of strong hot coffee, or whatever gets the gm going.

US East Coast. Still cannot reliably play the game with random disconnects. Usually play with 4 accounts but now I have trouble logging in even one. Hurray for day 3 of this.

Been playing Eve since 2008. Gotta say this is the worse series of DDoS attacks over a prolonged period of time that I have experienced. These issues have been occurring on a fairly consistent basis for 3 days. I’d just like to be able to play for a bit. Just a lil bit.

well it isnt my isp, it isnt my router, but it could be something along the pipeline. perhaps they got attacks under control from your side of the pond. I can run other games just fine. Could be a junction or hub with some other service or services having a issue, sure. but it sounds like your pipe to ccp is fine, and other’s are not. Me I had no problems until the ddos’s started happening.
I am glad that you are able to run 7 accounts and not have any problems though, good for you ^^.

I’m in the UK, fairly close to London and I have not seen any problems today. The DDOS attack does not have to be aimed at CCP / TQ to have an impact on CCP / TQ.
There is not much CCP can do about that, they do not run or police the internet. I suggest you get in touch with your ISP and report the issue to them.
It is Eve related if Eve is the only thing that I am having issues with. Everything else runs fine. I am not saying CCP did something wrong or anything like that but it is an Eve problem. Also if it wasn’t an Eve problem I don’t think we would have this thread with 389 post on an Eve forum.

ISP isnt an issue i think… Mine and others do not have issues, and internet connectivity with other games and tests online have no issues. Its just related to EVE that i am aware of.
Most don’t. It’s an issue with having a single, centralized server (well, multiple server clusters that operate under the umbrella of a centralized framework) that everyone plays on. Big target.
Not that there’s anything wrong with that. It’s just that having a single point of failure is a trade off for having all your players in one place rather than spread across multiple individual universes.
Trying to think of another that went with a single shard design, and can’t seem to come up with any.

Not able to log in. Is an attack real and should I be worried about my credit card info. Is this the new normal? Never had this happen before. If it is DDOS attack ass hats screw you. Hope you all have a horrible time in jail.
East coast here, I can connect to other games and stream etc, but unable to connect to eve 
it is possible that it the center of issues is related to EVE and being east coast… seeing alot of them posting here
I will not bother to buy another skill pack until you guys at CCP come up with a way to prevent a waste of my time. If this is going to be the new normal from now on I have to take my money elsewhere. Sorry but that’s how it is.
CCP offers a service to it’s clients/players and that service is currently unusable. They should be taking as much action as possible to resolve this issue - including, but not limited to, working with ISPs to identifying any network issues.
If the issue is not resolved they will lose players. Losing players is a CCP issue.
Ah hell with it. Game has been running like garbage for two days now at least. I give up for a while.

Lol… Yeah sorry, that wasn’t me trying a “humble brag” or anything - just trying to demonstrate the load I am able to maintain due to location of start/end points of my personal route.
I know it won’t be of any comfort atm but there are currently a few big attacks as far as I can see and a great deal of the traffic is aimed at the US. Unfortunately, there is also a big attack aimed at India that is originating mainly in the US too. It is not going to help you guys I am afraid
I know it’s sh1t and frustrating and it is interfering with people who just want to log in and have nothing to do with the attack and just want to play EVE… I know. I get it. Honestly, this isn’t me having a go at anyone.
Thing is, if people can’t connect then spreading their own misery around and hurling accusations and daft demands for freebies it just irritates. I know not you - honestly this does NOT apply to you in any way - but if I post that comment here where it doesn’t apply then maybe those people will see this and not be able to react and instead just think a bit.
I think its one of Eves servers man. I have NO problem with any other site in the good ol USA. You believe it if you like. At any rate didn’t China buy Eve?
