Yeah but here is the thing - it is only people in the US having these problems. Regardless of the ping on a chart - btw, nice chart, my nearest point on that one is Gosport so I’m feeling kinda smug right now - it is a geographically defined area that is having these issues.
Same issue here as well, I get errors from the log, stating failed to get a valid ball park in time after trying for 30 seconds, (cleared cache) read some more about flushing dns, (ipconfig /flushdns) did that, getting some sync. clock errors, ranging from 6-122 seconds. Logging in, is my new past time i think. 3 days now. AN update would be nice if there are still ongoing issues. I would love to agreee with some people that there was a broken connection running across the pond. …Yeah…pretty sure that’s not it either. My prayers are with you CCP that you find the root of this problem. I have enjoyed eve for many years and will continue to do so. Please keep us updated if there are any new developments.

To those responsible for the DDoS attack: I hope that whoever is behind this DDoS attack is apprehended or at least shut down. There is no point in this DDoS attack at all. Simply because you cannot have your way is no reason to spoil the fun for everyone else. You have easily made a significant and well noticed point by now. Now you are risking your freedom and your internet services. Please grow up.
To CCP: This is flatly unacceptable service. I have survived through several DDoS attacks on EVE’s servers and by far, this one is the worst. Please bring in your big guns and deal with this DDoS attack. We are paying for a service that right now we cannot use. I am hoping that we will be compensated in some way for the problem that you have been unable to fully solve.
So the Eve twitter has established it is a DDOS attack, their words not mine, not a NA connection problem. Why would someone want NA corp players not be able to log on and asian/european corps be fine. Who would benefit from that kind of DDOS attack ? Just curious , I dont know alot about EVE politics.
Or maybe there is a loose ethernet cable in the atlantic ocean somewhere but somehow I doubt it.

They better get a scuba diver so they can plug the cable back into the boat…that’s probably what happened…the boat with the Ethernet cable…(.going to eve) got wet…and washed over board…they sent the diver down (2 days ago)…makes so much sense now!

Been playing Eve since 2008. Gotta say this is the worse series of DDoS attacks over a prolonged period of time that I have experienced.
Since 2006 here, don’t ever remember it being this bad before.

Don t understand why the dude with 7 accounts wants to argue that it is not eve, when EVE themselves have stated that THEIR game is under DDOS attack. The DDOS attacks seem to be targeting an area of players.
But he is prob right and there is a cable loose in merica somewhere.

For real…i can log in…i get alot …noting really. Got to where it barely loaded. I am in game…and swap ships…that takes at least 30 seconds to swap over. Much less undock…usually by then it disconnects or boots me out.

Im not sure on the anti-US conspiracy, but yeah the game seems fine, perfectly playable from 0600(11 EvE time) to around 2-230 pm ESTZ in the US…then well EvE just goes on the fritz.

USA East Coast also, and I’ve been seeing the extreme lag and DC’s on several accounts for days just as others mentioned. Failed or slow logins, gate jump lag and DC’s, market lag, everything.
Ottawa, Canada here and it’s been not able to really get passed the screen with the “Done processing bulk data” message. When I do log in, I may get to undock then it just loses connection. Would be nice to get an official update. The last one from CCP on @CCP_STATUS on twitter was yesterday.

What steps has CCP taken to mitigate not just DDoS targeting them specifically, but DDoS affecting Internet services they depend on? Just got home from work and it’s the third day in a row I can’t play the game. I guess I won’t be enjoying skilling spree… because either I’d die due to lag/DC from rats or because it’d take me 3 hours just to travel (thanks to lag/DCs) to where I can rat some harmless pigeons that won’t kill me even if I DC.
Mining? What I am doing right now, connection is horrible and actions take roughly 3 minutes, but the drones seem to be working.
