Guessing again. There is no reason to assume any correlation between users of eve and computers used in any botnet.
Another guy blames “everyone that Doesn’t update there Devices that connect to the internet ie routers, webcams”. FYI the software industry has been full of talks about agile development, reducing release intervals, continuous integration and deployment for many years now. Why should the user take any actions for updating devices when those are all connected to the internet already. (not a question)
I live in the U.S., and have all my life. If there is a country more insular than the U.S. I would be surprised. People think their right to free speech (our first constitutional right by amendment) exists on the internet.

I have reached out as I lost a marauder to these attacks doing an emerging conduit site, that was last week and I still have not got a response to my ticket.

Personally, if EVE or the connection is unstable for whatever reason I don’t actively play because the risk of loss and irritation is just too high. I might log in doing some non-critical stuff but that’s it.
Being oblivious to issues and situations and STILL choosing to keep doing what you’re doing is dumb as hell. It’s akin to flying something that is a hilarious obvious gank target while you could and should have known better, then get all angry when you get ganked and rage quit or demand compensation.
People who are stupid at life and logic are also stupid at gaming, I guess.

I has isp issues and honestly- 500mb will run EVE for a month or two. I played it for 2 months plugged in to my limited cellphone data plan. You can see the data that EVE is using in real time:
ctrl+alt+shift+m and you can see what the game is sending recorded in real time. I’m in no way going against your post or observations; just saying that EVE consumes very very little data. Fly safe.

There is something wonderful about a queue. I like to take it to the next level though. I stand in the queue and then do that really British thing of sometimes just sighing really heavily and then - if I’m really into the feel of it all - I will look behind me to someone else and then roll my eyes.
Now and then I will go all-out and “tut!”. But that is for special occasions really 
At first I was I thout it was me when Local was empty when my transporter was got jumped and stalled and I moved my Black-ops to defend it and it froze and I could not open my cargo bay and before I knew I was in the hanger then 30 mins later the system crashed. So I hope CCP don’t blow off my loses

when i got dc’d earlier i was trying to scan a signature down and I will confess I wasnt focused on the game 100% but i was finding it odd how I could never quite get any progress on my scans. I think i was trying for around 10 minutes total before it dropped me… excellent attention paying skills you know!
My Deep tranports came in I knew there came I knew there was one guy but there other guys was not was not in locals where not in local at all and local channels kept flaking out it took me like 4 times to log on I figure it was Eve being Eve after a new update. My Widow came in at but know their ship could close the distance that fast if I had not I was in new clone right after I hit missiles and launched drones but I jest don’t chalked it to being Eve is Eve and eveything dies.btw I was my screen was froze when I tried to open cargo bay to hit boosters and when I tried to join fleet
Can you imagine going on full meltdown status because EVE is offline for 3 consecutive days?
How have you been playing EVE if you’re this impatient?
