The DDoS is over, the problem now is that the defence employed to stop it by the big internet pipe providers was using a nuke on an anthill. Buried somewhere in this thread are some very astute technical explanations and proof via competent investigation but since we’re EVE players everything devolves into so many hissy fits and old grudges the actual facts get drowned out and disappear into an ocean of sarcasm and mutual loathing. So much for the information age enlightening anyone… it’s all baby yoda and salt. Sad really. The people on this forum are the smartest gamers in the world- but wisdom and intelligence are often strangers.

Ha ha… you might have been the guy that got my newbro recruit yesterday… he salted his keyboard mightily. Meanwhile, I lost my proc earlier in the morning, and contracted my killer exotic dancers and a bottle of spiced wine… I’ve made more friends doing that than I have chatting. And miners chat a LOT. I heard rumors of the British, in their natural habitat ofc, forming queues just for the sake of queuing and passively aggressively complaining about said queue. Think I saw it on the nature channel.

haha I would say alot more then that al lot groups where taking advantage of the people who stalled buts its Eve I figure if I get the stuff back great if not well I move on and I find them with my PvP Toon deal with them people who want a real fight
When you file for reimbursement for losing a ship during an active DDoS and connection issue that’s lasted for a week.

What about my Raitarus that were at hull that I couldn’t defend? Are they replacing those?
looks like they re-enabled blackout due to ddos. I can connect now just no local or any other chat channels. Not that I mind not having local had some wh life experience but the corp channels are nice to have.

North America in the Ohio area is still having issues with connecting, disconnecting and with extreme lag. I’m still having to connect through a VPN to get any sort of playable experience. This is just an update. 
So I’m looking at EVE Offline… as I suspected, yesterday was the worst of the four days of DDoS. Today you can see the login rate after downtime is significantly lower than on normal days
Several members of my crew have resorted ragequiting EVE and decided to try a new MMORPG.
