Ive been unable to log in for the last 7 hours. everyone in a few tries i get in for a minute before getting kicked out.
Edit: i can log in now. But Cant connect to chat servers.
You can have a design that has a single virtual world that everyone shares, with all players âin one place rather than spread across multiple individual universes,â and yet still have multiple âshardsâ and multiple âpoints of failure,â etc. So the tradeoff you speak of isnât necessary.
I have to laugh at a lot of these responses. Since you canât teach the server how to jump, then you just got to turn it all off, unplug everything, shut it down. Change the proxy on the servers while your at it, then wait 24hrs and reboot the game. Then refund everyone 1m skill points and hopefully thatâll kick the antibodies from trying to fix things that donât need fixed and things can work again. Oh and one more thing, start using trunk scripting. It works.

Undocking while you well know there are connection issues that are not resolved and the server isnât that stable, thatâs on you sir.
Itâs not enough that theyâre not fast enough to satisfy your own entitlement, they have to be not fast for everyone else as well ?

I am truly baffled at how many people just post their grievances without understanding so much as the title to the post they selected.
I said earlier that people are more âtech savvyâ today than 10 years ago. I am seriously rethinking that after reading these forums for the past few days.
CCP is working on it, they hired a 3rd party who is also working on it, and today, they are probably analyzing the millions of systems data for any trace of the origin of the onslaught.
At least they are doing what they can to get people at least logged in.
Keep trying and have some patience and try real hard to be kind to each other.
