Does anyone have an Update or is CCP went Radio Silent? I don´t see any Information since yesterday. Even if they don´t have any clue whats wrong we would see that someone is trying to solve the Problem.
Well I was ingame for about 1 hour and it seemed that chat was working again, but yeah, I didn’t see any new update since…also, the message in Launcher is still there so I am assuming that they are still working on it.
They need sleep too. Let them sleep. Tired programmers are making more bugs than fixes.

It’s weekend now 
Chat has been experiencing constant and various issues for the… what is it, 4 years now since it went from a CCP server to an AWS cloud server? As those of us with multiple accounts who don’t spend 100% of the time in WH space or in separate systems know, the local pilot list is NEVER consistent to everyone, even station guestlists are screwed up (though often they will show pilots when local is completely blank and nonfunctional, at least… tho sometimes duplicates of your own alts).
I know there’s no going back to the old local, but… I continue to lament the decision to move local to the cloud as I have pretty much every single day since that change was made pre-pandemic.

I think ccp should be ashamed that this is happening for days now.
This is a MMO game where local and comminucation is key.
I am just flabbergasted that this is the almost new normal for days and afther 2 or 3 days ccp comes out and tells up maybe something is wrong.
It just shows that the company has different prio’s then it should and that makes me a little un happy.
I am a programmer my self and i know this is part of life as a programmeur.
GO FIX you get money from ccp and we pay to play the game so GO and FIX you game that should have ben fixed 2 days ago.

I doubt CCP would ever ever admit they were trying to re-do Blackout. Take a look at the daily logins from the summer of 2019: they spike for about a week after Blackout, then level off, then begin a long steady decline, until September when they fall off a cliff and CCP Falcon shows up onstage at EVE Vegas looking like somebody had just murdered his puppy, announcing that Blackout would be ended within a week.
No publicly held company would announce they were going to re-implement a revenue-killing change to their product unless they wanted their shareholders to revolt. Even CCP isn’t that negligent.

I appreciate the attempt to provide a workaround for the local chat problems. However, my experience with the new opt-in local is:
- that it takes up to 5 seconds to update when you enter a new system, I see similar delay when another toon enters a system I’m in. That’s not usable.
- standings and flags are NEVER accurate for alliance members, which is not helpful.
I don’t see how the opt-in local is making the game any more playable. It is still unplayable for me, even with the opt-in local.
Since I don’t know the nature of the underlying problem, I’m unable to offer any suggestions.

Me too, and I know that in a situation like this I’d be forced to do overtime during the weekend.
But here we are with no update in the last 24 hours
@CCP_Paragon I am facing an issue where I dont even see the preview feature option and thus no 2nd local window

After careful talking to some of my old corpies that are still mad at them, they seem to think this has to do with the new local they are going to roll out that filters by standing.
after seeing how hard it was to get ppl behind the new UI, they prob broke chat on purpose so the new chat and local when it comes out will be welcomed
Re new “OPT IN” local, quote from ccp “Seeing other players in this local should be very accurate and stable.” can confirm with my own alts this is NOT the case.
