I’m just still baffled that in 2023 a basic text chat is what they can’t get right. xD absolute comedy, 20 years and they still can’t get a text chat to work in 3 days. Come on, this has got to be some kind of twilight zone right? xD

from what i understand that the text chat isn’t on the same server as the game client i could be wrong tho
like i said lot’s of ppl use chat to do things on eve whithout it the game has no social aspect what so ever and ppl need this these days

that’s march new patch notes … the new expansion is in June … that may be what messed up the chat in the first place .
over the month’s ive put that much money into eve and packages i could pay the rent on my house 3 times over so ime invested in it getting back and stable for all users of the server and the chat i use so much of with my fleet and my corp…

Pvp under those circumstances can be considered an exploit and get your account penalized. So this game is dead.

What are people PAYING for here? BTW your “feature preview” solution is complete garbage. I can only imagine those TRYING to fleet are having an awesome time, let alone communicate in fleet, corp, or alliance chats … this is absolutely horrible!

congratz on ■■■■■■■ up right under your 20th birthday. 8 years since the re-work of a chat system which instead was a simple offload of the backend to another partner, one that was unreliable to start with, a simple text implementation that barely got hyperlinks working halfway down the road, outdated A.F. compared to every other MMO that delivers even simple stupid year 2000s emotes, and you still can’t deliver. And won’t deliver. Because your priorities are, as usual, shifted towards the next “big one hit wonder” project. You are so pathetic.

If all channels seem empty, try relogging and give it a full minute. That worked for me, after I first logged in today. After a while, channels reconnected and I was able to type at corp mates etc. An hour later it all failed again, but was fun while it lasted 
PvP not dead. The problems mostly affect null-security space, where many players take it as a rule that “you consent to PvP when you undock.” Players lose ships all the time, because they didn’t pay enough attention to local, when it IS working D-scan is working; Null-sec miners and ratters should mash that button. It’s not impossible to get something out of EVE today; I imagine highsec is easier to cope with.
tryed that 4 times and still took 20-40 min for corp to load and still got undelivered msg its not about the d-scan its about the social interaction ppl want this is what this post is all about .
