30-31/01/2020 - Connectivity Issues

I was thinking the same. It would mean less refunds for CCP too

It still gives me a connection error when I try to log in but if I press the connect button in the bottom after it does log in.
This only happens to my second account.
My first account logs in with no problems now :+1:

Weird :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

chat servers are all fubar’d I hated blackout when you guys did it the first time

And I had to try 3 time to log in about an hour ago(kept giving me port error) Now seem to be logging in fine(except for chat servers offline

Could not connect to chat server .Please ensure that this port isn’t blocked.Retry?

The same applies here. Yesterday I was able to log in to Erfurt (German) all day without any problems, now I can no longer connect.

hopefully this downtime that coming up soon will fix it

Chat isn’t working, also get messages at different times from Traffic Control when jumping into various systems.

northern italy, error msg at log in, pushing connect anyway and it works, but no chat

This worked for me. If you can get to the client window and it tells you you can’t connect open settings (esc key), go to “Reset Settings” tab and click “Clear All Cache Files”

just saying, still can’t log in, issues are still NOT resolved
edit: clear all cache files helped
@ccp: maybe you should post a note about that at the begining of the tread

over 8 hours since I was disconnected, still unable to log back in.

the previously mentioned clear cache thing did not work

yeah, seems to be random, sometimes it works, sometimes not

Can’t log in - UK.
This has been ongoing since Tuesday… Fingers crossed for today’s extended downtime. For now - movie time

Can’t log in in Australia.

First time i have tried all week.

Worked for me too, ty for the tip.

so, now TWO days without successful login, congrats.

Guess it was a bad time to be Omega

I guess back to watching this cruise liner live stream with 7000 potential zombies on it

My guess is that the IP forwarding to the CCP server was corrupted , flushes the dns cache compelled the windows system to reset its IP and enable the connection .
If this is a DDOS scenario , that would make some sens ( man in the middle)

This was the idea behind the response of @Big_Country_Boy 2020/01/27 & 28 - TQ under DDoS

So, back to randomly pulling port cables?

Reinstall?

Reset settings / clear all cache files

US East, 4th? day or w/e this seemingly endless annoyance has lasted, since my initial loss I put a ticket in for, Random I can get on and plenty of lag and d/c’s. It’s getting old. Wish you luck for all our sake…
