- Don’t invest more than a month. Enjoy the spaceships, but dont get attached. everything burns. so will eve. Nothing lasts forever.
Actually EVE is lasting forever.
I assume that after a month . you got spanked and rage quit.
Oh you should definitely get attached to your spaceships! Pick a ship you love, get a fit that works perfectly, and save that fit to make replacing it very easy! Just a couple of clicks on the marketplace and boom! Your ship is back! Reapply the SKINR and get back to work!
Why is it called high sec?
Based on these rules It should not be called high sec
The “high” is the speed of CONCORD response and “security” is CONCORD’s mandate.
Lowsec is Low CONCORD response time.
Highsec is Hight CONCORD response time.
ALL space is dangerous.
Actually it is ordered by the state of evolution within a sec.
Null sec is inhabited by the lowest form of evolutuon, the F1 monkey. In high sec we have the highest form of evolution , the Suicide Ganker. In low sec we have the pirate, superior to the F1 monkey ,but not quite evolved enough to become a Suicide Ganker.
Within all secs however, we have the greedy little miner that must be exterminated at any cost.
I don’t think it’s as simple as that but it would make for an interesting plotline.
Why not.
But greedy little miners are what keeps you suicide gankers in those nice shiny ships. That get blown up by the space police.. LOL
I think the top is a Ganker who mines, does PI and Industry to build his own ships and PvE to regain Standing. That is the classiest way I imagine a vet Capsuleer to be.
In any way, I think it’s hasty and careless to label players as this or that. I’m sure many players do a combination of things in New Eden and not just mine or scan.
I dont buy that. For example there is no CONCORD in low sec
True, Lowsec is the wild west. That doesn’t negate my statement about Hisec.
It doesn’t mean regular patrols, handholding to the next belt or wake you up when someone appears in Local. They show up for the ones who attacked, they couldn’t care less about you.
I ain’t sellin’.
How old are you if you dont mind me asking?
How rude
Everyone is an F1 monkey except the miners. Miners are F1 and F2 monkeys.
At any cost. Unless it’s a ship that’s over tanked and not worth the loss of Cats.
That’s not a miner, it’s an f1 monkey in a skiff
Then what about the other mining laser? I have two of them.
I think I see the problem. You think that lasers and strip miners can be linked. They can’t. Only guns and missiles can be grouped. So you’re the F1 monkey.
F1 monkey (see above) is a state of evolution.
An F1 monkey is incapable of comprehending that they are an F1 monkey. The high sec miner, even though near the bottom of the evolution scale, is at a higher state of evolution than the F1 monkey, understanding that mining involves actually mining.
The F1 monkey however has taken the 1st steps to evolving by climbing into a mining barge, the next stage will be to learn how to efficently mine instead of sitting there like a dummy.
You can’t use the term in the definition. “An F1 monkey is an F1 monkey”. If you don’t know what one is, just say so.
I never even use the F1 key when mining. I only use it in a combat ship. Whether it’s my T3 cruiser or my Marauder. It’s pretty useless to hit it when mining. Gankers use the F1 key (or in Aiko’s case- the F2 key).
