For closing wormholes, all you need i is the warp disruption field generator and a HIC. The mass reduction comes from the generator.

I’ve got a lot of downvotes on Reddit for that but i will say it again: wormholes are intended to be “dangerous unknown space” and i never understand why part of this parcel can be calculated and predicted, why it is totally possible to make WH to safe haven by crit all existing WHs…
Actually outside of local chat there is nothing “unknown” in J-space these days.

That is WH without a Rolling HIC. We are whinging because it totally fucks our ability to generate any content whatsoever.

First you hide from cluster in WH.
Then you need special means to find content.

Once upon a time a ran a small wh corp out of a C2. We used a rolling orca and rolling ravens because it’s all we had and knew. We lost 3 ravens to the wrong side of a hole collapse and I remember once making my way gate to gate from deep drone space till I got to highsec. Such were the accepted risks involved for us to get our daily content.

I disagree with @Ima_Wreckyou calling hics a cheat but the points s/he made are right. You will adapt. If 3 sweaty nerds fresh outta eve uni managed until we really built up a group I’m sure seasoned vets with years of wh experience will make this work

At the end of the day, CCP never intended for people to live in WHs. So although emergent gameplay is what it is and players now live there, expecting balance changes to preserve what was never intended is… meh.

And yet we got spam-a-dels to spam everywhere, despite logic or any sense at all.

Why wouldn’t anyone spam a station in empty space and without any resources to build it with, makes almost sense.
NASA is preparing none as we speak.

The main use-case for HIC’s is when you have a critted static that you need to get closed so you can continue looking for content.

I think “someone” did not like this content.

People are crying over having to use a BS? Getting stuck outside your WH is half the fun! Especially if there are enemies around. Just wish there was a way to fit the BS so it could actually give a better fight in WH space AND be able to roll. EVE Online is all about involuntary PVP. Getting stuck outside your WH is part of that.

Not only that, but I’m pretty sure some “wormhole module” would follow the game’s plot in how Drifters and Sansha can just pop in and out of places we don’t have access to (in addition to possibly extending the wormhole duration we can stay in abyssal deadspace).
