so to get a bounty do i need to pod or just destroy thier ship im very confused if someone can clarify this
You only need to destroy their ship. And you only get a percentage of what their ship was worth that you destroyed. If someone has a 1 billion ISK bounty on them, you can’t collect it by killing them while they are in a shuttle…

Unless they have an expensive pod and you manage to get that too.
