Being an extremely small scale industry player I am already using the Jita market to equalize access to materials that are not directly created by my internal supply chain. I think the layers of complexity is a dual edge sword in both keeping my interest by making things hard. This is Eve not WoW. I made a philosophical choice early on in the game to play only one character. Rest is done in fleet if needed.
Bottom line: no big deal.
Definitely will not be building Titans solo ever. Until CCP lets players create NPCās of their own and come up with strategic play to operate in space to the benefit or detriment of the player you can go play on the test server and buy whatever for 1 ISK per unit.
Ask yourself what you would do if everything was pegged at 1 ISK per unit and if it would change your gameplay.
This is not about āWhat if everything would be 1 iskā This is about why would i spend 20 hours for something that is 5 minutes of fun. Pretty sure most of us would not. But if i only have to spend 3 hours for the same amount of fun i probably would. If it takes me multiple days worth of investment to have that 5 minutes of fun then i will just have my fun somewhere else. This is still a game. Even tho some of us think otherwise.
And the problem is that it used to take 3 hours to get that 5 minute fun. But its getting to that 20 hour for that 5 minute.
Hrm ⦠if CCP really wants to carve out a space for new players, why not disallow higher level skills from being able to build lower tier ships? Maybe too radical an idea for some.
i am asking WHY? why you need change mineral amounts for ships? why you need more complex production? our job already not easy. and with these changes entire market mess now.
I am really sick and tired from this game developers. They change too much. Yes really. This game no more sand box. Even normal games developers didnt cause this kind of caos. CCP devs really dont have any clue about game market. So i start this game two years ago. And I saw only think. Punishment because of CCP own old faults.
yes i am really sick and tired. i dont want play this game. And i dont give anything for beggars.
Iāve been here on and off from late 2007 myself and iām slowly starting to get sick of the changes.
Iāve never known a game with so many updates every 5 minutes.
Iām more of a casual player (due to working for a living) so yeah theres certain aspects of the game iāll probably never have time to explore so i run a very small indy corp, we just chugg around doing our thing and it slowly āfeelsā like itās getting pushed too far from what we do⦠or have time to do.
Skins⦠pointless, BPCās of other races ships were not interested in⦠pointless.
Personally just remove plex altogether, i think your damaging your game using it. I fully understand CCP / Pearl bollicks or whoever runs the show these days wants to make money but at the same time youāve not thought the changes through some of the time.
We got a new player (who spent ££ / $$ on your plex) to get a good head start in the game, only to find he cant because of lack of understanding & skills to use half the shiney ā ā ā ā youāve given him, and now said new player is shocked at the time it takes to get some skills to level 5ās in order to be of much use.
Starting to piss your players off is probably not the way to go.
So you are going to change industry all around and not give us any ore to mine⦠stupidest this ever.
Please tell me what the point of reworking industry if there is nothing to build with in the game. No ore means no industry. How many more people are going to leave before things get fixed? Maybe fixing all the stuff they broke in the last yr. instead of putting in crap to misdirect from the real problems.
I know How to fix itā¦
Sell ore on plex market⦠you know its coming next; you can buy almost everything else with plex why not⦠why have a reason to play this game at all.
every time i see someone point out that the new players can just sell trit to get the misc materials they need to build a frigate i want to scream MARKET TRANSACTION FEEs. its not about making industry more exciting, its about grabbing more isk from players. plain and simple
A game is Suppose to change as you lvl, grow, and experience more of the game; Not learn to play then someone forces you to learn to play again cause a change wasnāt made in gameplay but the game itself; over and over and over⦠and overā¦
Please can you reconsider the changes your going to make to manufacturing. The price of the various minerals needed to construct ships are already too high, without introducing yet more needed components coupled with increased mineral values . Industry is not broken. Its fine as it is, no changes are needed.
So basically you show middle finger to the new players⦠Since production now will be harder it will increase the cost of the ships, veteran players with piles of ISK are still in chilling zone, but new players ??
They rather quit than spending money on the game⦠So again like yours ““ mining rebalance ““ you are doin it wrong⦠You should focus more on bot-farmers and less on agitating new players⦠That direction you are taking is to reduce new player-base⦠Also shove more and more to farmers in null sec⦠They have it easy so why not help them more !!!
there are aspects of the industry change that appeal to me based on other games.
i was able to gather materials, make ingots, turn them into hilts or blades, and then imbue the;m with magical abilities. i needed skills as a gatherer, a blacksmith, and and imbuer. it was interesting and engaging. at NO time did i have to go to a market to buy things to support an isk sink. in addition, everything i made had my name on it as the builder. That was engaging and fun industry. For what its worth, there were very few skilled industrialists because of the time involved taking away from other gameplay. It was a great idea, but did not increase interest in industy. it stifled it
i like these updates. itās going to breath new life into wormholes and low sec, where the real men play. put on your big boy pants and get out of high sec!
lol all ships are going to affected by these changes, and they are all going to be more expensive. Unless you are just sitting in station⦠And I didnāt quoted you, just replied to your comment. We do have reply option.
