I was getting the impression, that it would be beneficial if there were some more specialized Technology-related Channels, that also had Devs and ISDs in it regularly who can answer specialized Questions about the newest developments and features of the Game more competently than the General Help-Channels.
For example: Does the newly implemented Aura-LLM work better on PCs with an NPU because it uses that piece of hardware more efficiently?
Or could the Waypoint-Optimization use these new hardware-possibilities for preventing gray-out-screen when more than 10 Waypoints are optimized, for example?
These very techy questions are just an example for those new developments, that have been implemented into the Game. But there are also other questions about hardware-specifics, that could be answered by such specifically qualified people then (I personally wouldn’t trust any LLM to answer these questions accurately yet since they require understanding and not just probability-based chaining of words.).
So, if there are player channels for Technology-related issues/questions (which I’m almost sure there might be), that is all good, but I want to point out how beneficial a FC-moderated one would be where people with enough background knowledge at least regularly check-in for inspiration, enlightening the fan-base and bouncing back ideas maybe, too - so, it’s not only for us curious players, but also for them, i.m.h.o.
I hope my intention came across for the most part (I’m already a wee bit tired after all as I’m writing this) and you get the idea.
