You’ve developed yourself into an outstanding commanding officer over the time I have known you. Whilst we are now opponents on the field, I can do nothing but respect your capabilities as a starship captain and how you have grown as a person since our first meeting, your attempts at gaining some coin off of me notwithstanding!

Your ideas and opinions appear well founded in fact and reason. Even if I ultimately disagree with those opinions, I can appreciate the ways in which you arrived at them.
You also (as far as I have seen) present yourself with a careful, dignified bearing–a rare talent among our crowd.

I have found those times I’ve been fortunate enough to meet you to be impressed by your grace and charm, and I’ve been unfortunate only in how few those meetings have been.

Haha … you’re enthusiastic about this thread, which says good things about how you want to look at people and this world. It’s important not to post too often, though. Maybe give it a while before you take the openings you see? It’ll work better if you let more people in before you jump in again, rather than less.
It’s best when there are lots of people all responding now and then, each time to someone new.

I rather missed your sardonic demeanor while I was away. I forgot a great many names during that time, but not yours. I think it was because you simply weren’t as smug or obnoxious when you were being cynical, which always struck me as more engaging.
