Ability to create custom player-made chat channels and discover public player-made chat channels in a list (sorry if already exists)

Title.

Before i continue, sorry if this already exists, if so, please ignore this post.

EDIT: Idea 1.1 is already in-game, so whats left is Idea 1.2 and 1.3, which is the public chat channel browser to actually find public chats.

=========================

Idea 1.1 EDIT: already in-game

Ability for players to make their own chat channels, including permissions such as who is a moderator who can mute, ban, or kick people.

Idea 1.2

A chat channel browser or list or menu or something to find and join player-made chat channels that are made public, discoverable, and joinable

Idea 1.3

Ability to make this player-made chat channel private and not discoverable on the player-created chat channel list / browser, and ability to keep it discover-able on chat channel browser, but have Join permissions set to Request Permission To Join or Disabled (can be re-enabled later)

============

Once again, if this already exists, im sorry, please ignore

============

Goal:
For players to be able to create their own chat channels, and make them easy to find in one easy to access and navigate list.

==========

Might lead to pre-existing businesses and services in Eve Online, such as pushx hauling service, being more discoverable and well known, and easier to communicate with because you can actually access their chat channel, instead of requiring a link from someone already in the chat channel.

Currently, in my experience, players have access to Local chat and Corporation chat. Thats it.
You want access to a chat you know already exists?
You have to get a link to it, otherwise you can never get in.
Or you have to already know about it.

===============

Looking forward to your hate comments!

All of that already exists in the game. I suggest you actually look into things before posting.

Creating a custom chat channel in EVE Online..

  1. Click the Chat Channels icon (looks like two speech bubbles in your Neocom or under the Social menu).
  2. Click the + icon in the chat window, type your new channel name, and press Join. If it doesn’t exist yet, EVE will automatically create and enter it.
  3. Go to the My Channels tab, right-click your new channel, and select Settings to configure a password, set a Message of the Day (MOTD) and manage admin permissions.

Managing Your Chat Channel

To keep your channel organized, you can assign roles to other players. Under the Who’s allowed tab in the Channel Settings, you can designate operators (who can mute or kick people) and restrict access. You can also use this tab to manage your blocked and muted member lists if things get out of hand in your custom sandbox space.

Sharing Your Channel

If you want others to join your new channel, you can easily share it in other chats:

  • Type the channel name into any existing chat box, then right-click the text and select Link.
  • Drag and drop that new clickable blue text into channel MOTDs, in-game mails, or corporation bulletins

Easy there keyboard commando, OP was plenty humble in their original post. No need to kick up this kind of gradeschool drama over nothing.

Post edited to say that 1.1 is already in-game, so whats left is 1.2 and 1.3, which is the list to browse public chat channels, intended to improve the current system.

Currently, if you want to enter a public chat channel made by another player, you either need the link to it from a person who is already in it, which is very difficult to get, if anyone is even in it to begin with other than the creator,

or

you put in the name of it in a search bar and click Join (thanks @DeMichael_Crimson )
however, this requires you to know of its existence first, which is impossible, unless you happen to see people talking about it in local chat, which is very rare.
