Ablative Payload System

While the Damage Control and Warp Core stabilizer are limited to one per ship, the Inertial Stabilizer is not.

I’d fit a second Inertial Stabilizer.

Not every game needs to be the same—this could help EVE stand out from Albion, which doesn’t offer anything like this afaik

If you just want to lose your cargo you could just jettison it. Doesn’t show up on your KM then. Same with your hull, if you’re desperate not to let others know how bad you are at fitting a ship.

This is the only thing you’ve ever said I agree with.

Now you just need to realize that Eve isn’t your game, and stop trying to make it not Eve.

Oh you gave up on the previous argument and try a new angle?

Sure.

While I agree that not every game needs to be the same, it is good practice in gaming to pick the good parts of other similar games while also keeping your core game unique to be distinctive.

The practice I described from Albion was meant to show how ‘spite-destroying’ your goods undermines the full loot part of a full loot PvP game.

While we do not need to copy this practice of Albion, because in EVE there is no ‘trashing’ of items outside stations, only jettisoning, it is still good to keep in mind that letting players get rid of their items while they’re inevitably going to lose their stuff to their killers is bad practice.

You don’t want your game to implement bad practices on purpose. Usually bad practices are only part of a game because they haven’t been fixed yet.

or just warp to zero?
