It would allow for better coordination for stuff like bomb runs and would just make voice communication easier overall.

It need’s to be something that people would be able to know even without the tactical overlay on and for that you need a reference point that can be seen.
Technically people can train them selves to do it now xD. Elite kiting fleet’s use the down direction as a common path so everyone know’s which direction the rest will go in general, if you use direction of sun then angled clockwise you could say we are kiting out 70 degrees and everyone would know which direction that is.
