And the people doing exploration sites, the people actually exploring for the fun of it, the smaller people trying to bring their stuff from one place to another, and so on.
Says the year old people who worked their asses off to get to the point where they could do so only to have all that work shoved back in their face.
That was odd, my post happened twice…
By how much? I don’t need exact numbers, just an idea
They might be trying to do that, but in at least my case they will fail utterly.
Peak users was always over 30k leading up to the change. Since the change, it is barely reaching 30k, even on Saturday. It is hard to tell if there is a downward trend. We maybe have 2k fewer people now.
Thanks, I almost never notice that stuff unless the launcher is being obnoxious.
Ape Escape > Great Escape
Snuff will hotdrop supers on a shuttle if they get bored enough, just because they can.
This and how hard it is to build one now, tbh. The production map for capitals is…just ridiculous.
Don’t worry CCP_Rattati will nerf the ■■■■ out of mining ships real soon and change all of this along with making Orcas and Rorquals unable to mine anymore.
These changes are only hurting the game. The industry changes are the most egregious and it’s really a shame that it’s 3 to 4x the price to build many different ships. I don’t know who thought up these changes but I hope they get fired.
The changes to warp stabs is utter insanity. People work for weeks to afford a nice shiny new (3x the cost now don’t forget) ship and then get insta ■■■■■■ by some nerd with no life that sits on a gate with his mouth breathing friends because stabs are useless now. Should have just put the dang drone bandwidth nerf on em and let it at that. This whole “active gameplay though!” fallacy they are spouting is ■■■■■■■■ too. How active is sitting on a gate with a bubble and watching Netflix?
You can’t force pvp. Those who don’t want to never will. You can nudge them into it all you want but when these people lose the ability to avoid you degenerates and your play style overwhelms theirs they’re just going to quit. That’s why the login numbers are down. “But eve is a pvp game though!” The ones who constantly scream this are the most annoying of all.
If you were getting insta anything by some nerd the wcs wouldn’t have saved you anyway. In null wcs were always useless because of bubbles but people fit them anyway and died anyway. In null it has always been that pretty much any other module would be better in that slot than wcs. If you were using them then you were just nerfing yourself unnecessarily.
I think I reprocessed something like 400 wcs a couple months ago all gotten from killing pilots that thought they would save them.
They would have in my travel fit tengu. Only ever lost one since starting in 2014 and that was all my fault. A little bit of blame goes to these meliminal or whatever storms that stop cloaking. Now I have to fit a stupid a module that also needs to ■■■■ back off to be nullified.
Let’s hope so!
This is the reason they were changed.
I thought snuff quit the game O_o did they reincarnate?
You’re talking about a 4 - 12 months character making that much in Pochven. That good income by that standard. EVE isn’t the kind of game that will let you into large-scale manufacturing as fast as you wish. You’re talking about manufacturing BF Battleship, bro! Not your little ganking Destroyer!
4 - 12 months characters should not be past manufacturing Destroyers or at most Cruisers. Then you have to fly them, too. Or do you just sell them and move to the next one? Is your character strictly Industry?
What do you like to do most in the game?
As solo player you have to specialize combined with Defence capabilities. The balance between those two given by CCP is not such that you may do both for a character that young. Thee years is, in my opinion, barely enough. Unless you want to stick to Hisec and get bored to DEATH.
Skill injectors would like a word with you. I have seen 1 day old carrier pilots.
Unless they fail cascaded in the last couple of weeks and no one noticed, then no, they’re still running large swathes of lowsec.
Show me a killmail.
Good.
With time the results of the change become more obvious. In this is the chance for all people affected that can think the changes were pretty gamebreaking.
