Advice on Tengu ratting fit

For a Tengu, is a shield recharge rate of 649.2 EHP/s with EHP of 28.2k all right for nullsec ratting?

if you really mean ratting (doing forsaken hubs, havens, and sanctum) yes it is largely enough. But not the most efficient, because of ammo needs. A rattlesnake would be better
If you mean doing ded sites, yes it is a solid fit

Dual medium cap battery is a waste. You could do better.
Dig deeper into the forums and you will find decent fits. They were posted here some time ago.

I am glad you posted this question. I retired my ‘Epic’ Tengu in favor of a Heavy-Missile/Drone Legion, and was going to use my now ‘available’ Tengu for ratting as you described:

But now I wonder if stable reps in the low 400s along with similar dps, might be too little for the job. Will keep working on it – this has been a very reliable boat for Amarr/Caldari epics though, posted as was able to get by w/out cap-batts, in case interested:

Nah… Tegu could do better than that.
Yet that fit would do many sites, but struggle in some other :slight_smile:

It’s true, I gimped in funny places – trying to keep costs below a target level as would ferry it through the pipe in Uedama neighborhood, from Gallente space, yet have to stuff enough in to meet those missions with long-range neuting and ecm. It’s replacement the Legion has worked real well, and clears far quicker though with its lower sensor strength needs its drones more often than I’d like, so it needs more work. I wish I could make a decent Tengu drone boat, but the formula isn’t there for me:
