AIR Daily Goal Poll

But does it really mean it is wrong? The line between “too good to pass out” and “not worth to do” is very thin. The way it is now, it can give motivation to break the usual routine and do something different. Not for me, and not for you, but I believe there are players who wants this small push and will do it. Even if it is small number of players I think it is worth it. Does it bring any negative to rest of us? I don’t think so. And since it is not so advantageous some of us don’t feel forced to do these annoying chores which is a good thing too :wink: .

Indeed, however for Alpha players, it is really great and speeds them up considerably and also lets them further train beyond the SP limit.

Maybe they could reward players with multiplier boosters that after injecting / activation will boost bounties earned, minerals produced during reprocessing, reduce sales taxes and whatnot, and so on for the duration of the booster. (Maybe only one of them the player chooses or all at once.)

This would scale with the player so would benefit both old and new players as whatever they do will be boosted by a percentage amount instead of a fixed value, thus if an old player earns a lot more it would grant more benefit that is still comparable and might more likely worth it than a fixed minuscule amount that does not.

:thinking:

PLEX

Not sure if they would hand out something on a mass scale on a constant basis that could affect their bottom line that easily. :thinking:

@Uriel_the_Flame No, you’re absolutely right, they wouldn’t.
But it was worth the try :smiley:

It seems that the goal of dailies is to drive engagement and–ultimately–the game economy and CCP’s revenue, and I think all reasonable people support that.

The problem is that a lot of us value skill points over all else, so we feel compelled to suffer through these chores, which are often boring and unrelated to our chosen game objectives. By the time we’ve gotten the reward for just the three characters on one account, we might have lost an hour, maybe the only hour we had available to play. So although people are logging in, they’re not enjoying the game and not doing activities that drive the economy. As a result, the current system only partially accomplishes CCP’s presumed goals and actually undermines engagement for many of us.

I believe that we should simply get an account-level reward for any kind of gameplay with any character on that account. This would be both more fun and more productive.

Making the daily challenges account-wide would solve one of it’s issues.

I still don’t think daily challenges are good for EVE though, but if CCP insists in having them they should improve the dailies to align better with everyone’s gameplay so they are nice rewards for playing the game, rather than chores people have to do before their intended gameplay in order to receive SP.

We’re supposed to be getting a “jump” or “warp” one.

Sounds good, at least I would complete that one during regular gameplay.

Under 20M SP, I tried completing goals, but it wasn’t fun, so I stopped.

I only complete them by accident, i otherwise forget the AIR stuff exists at all

The rewards are pocket change.
