When last I played (2013) AIR was not a thing. I have four minor alts who do PI. Is it a good idea to do the AIR Industry chain of missions or a waste of time? I get the impression that I’ll get rewards for basically doing what I was going to do any way, but my grasp of this topic is tenuous at best, so want to confirm that.
Also, I just completed the first mission for the AIR Industrial agent in Amarr space, but am about to move to a totally different part of the galaxy and stay there. Can I just continue over there? Is there anything I need to do before I leave to be able to continue over there?
AIR Career program, 4 large groups of “achievements”
Career agents, those existed in 2013 already, 12 sets (3 each per empire faction)
The AIR career program progresses wherever you are, they’re not bound to any agent. The progression is tracked automatically
The Career Agents are more limiting. Each faction has 3 complete sets of agents, in the systems listed here: Career Agents - EVE University Wiki. These 12 groups are independent of each other, so in theory you could run all 12 sets, 3 for amarr, 3 for caldari, etc etc on every single toon you have.
Note: one AIR task (the kernite one) is made easy by the fact that one of the career agent missions has more than enough kernite to mine.
Note: you can do AIR on all toons on an account, if you like
