Seems like the only battleships in the game are the vindicator and machariel nowadays, with the rattlesnake as close second.
The navy battleships need a drastic decrease in price and they could be good choices.
Come the March patch, the increased cargo holds and targeting ranges help a little.
Raven navy is prettty good IMO.
The issue is that even with its apply bonus, you still need apply mods. Then the delay makes lose ammos. Which he can’t get a lot of.
You’re not supposed to get at range but it’s not fast enough to kite the rats, so you also need a mjd and a sebo to target >100km 
I still enjoy it, but mainly because I don’t care about isk/h sometimes and just want to shoot things.
Lvl4’s are easy and don’t require much investment if you know what you are doing of course. Kite the living S&!+ out of everything in a Raven with Cruise missiles or is you feel the need RHML.
