If there has been one negative outcome already, its that CCP staff, especially Hilmar, whom had shares in CCP, now no longer do, thus reducing their fiscal investiture in CCP (and EVE).
Otherwise, what happened is CCPs owners/investors got swapped to PA’s owners investors, and added an additional top tier to CCPs structure, as PA.
I am sooooo glad CCP isn’t being bought by EA.

Well here’s a sinking boat. @CCP_Falcon are they going to fire you right off the bat because your LEGENDARY level of incompetence and your long trail of biased decisions especially on the forums side made CCP lose very old clients and implicitly a lot of money.

Trolls I can agree with, but if you dislike scammers and corp thieves, then I have some news for you: You’re playing the wrong game…! Scamming and thieving is what EvE is known for. If you have such a distaste for that, I really have to ask you: Why the hell did you ever decide to start playing EvE-O…?

You can despise anyone you want.
EvE is more than game of scammers and such.
And being person (not some kind of NPC) you have free will to do anything you want. If you don’t like scamming or thieving you have all the rights in the world to not do it.
I too have distaste for some activities. In particular this is when you talk to people, become a “friend” and then betray. Simply because even in online game you playing with real people. It’s not avatars playing with avatars. It is real people communicating with real people.
To each their own though. If you can wear mask and then say that it’s not you then good for you. Personally i cannot break this barrier and will not even try. Shooting others? Nice. Scamming? Nice as long as you don’t lie. Thieving? Ok if you didn’t lie. Etc…
Educated adults will actually play the game without resorting to stealing or scamming. That is how 90% of the Eve community does it. Normal players will simply enjoy the game as it is.
However low quality players and in special frustrated ones will resort to this kind of behavior. The special snowflakes who are too dumb to achieve anything in or out of Eve.
Everybody may dont like the scum of EVE, that is perfectly fine, you may be proud of never scamming or twisting knife in someones back. Contrast is needed for scum to stay proud of their scumminess.
Security Team has specifically used the term “scum” to describe botters/RMT/account hijacking.
