This does little to deflate the impression of Null being a pampered priority for CCP.
Null space. He’s using the player count drop (which may have nothing to do with CCP) as cover for an opportunistic attention grab.
No, he’s soliciting for dev time which is much more valuable than isk, and he’s doing it at the expense of players that frankly deserve the attention much much more.
Believe me, the responses here have been quite restrained considering the well of suppressed rage that this post has tapped into.

How about this: ccp continued to serve ■■■■ sandwiches the last couple of years, and enough for second and third servings, that still doesn’t make it a good meal by any standards. So there will be plenty for you.
Most of the toxicity you refer to boils down to “grrr-nullsec how dare they”, without even making a token effort to understand what the criticisms are about, instead focusing on what someone from nullsec suggested as possible remedies how dare he… I linked the list twice already. It’s worth a good read and a thorough understanding, that is if you can let go of your prejudices before you start reading.
Denying that a very significant number of players are unhappy, attacking them for having criticism, ignoring that the player count is dramatically decreased doesn’t make you right. It makes you look rather funny.

I assume this question was directed at me.
Consider this an example of your very narrow perspective on how the game can be played.
It is lucrative, just not as much as it was. And his motives are about power and control, like any good nul sec leader, which comes from having people log in, make money so they can get taxed and fly ships for his fleets which are the embodiment of his power and control.
Increased established null sec wealth generation comes at the cost of balance compared to everyone else, he is not the altruistic saviour of EVE you try to make him out to be. So you’re either purposefully lying or ignorantly bliss.

- max income (which you say is in high sec, which is already a lie lol)
- things you enjoy doing
So choose.

Are you suggesting that doing a safer activity should produce more isk, because that’s what you are supporting?
I’m suggesting what you state to be safer isn’t actually safer. I’m suggesting that you’re a typical “I want it all” player so I’m suggesting that you should probably choose between what, you say, makes the most isk in the safest way possible and what you actually enjoy doing. I’m also suggesting that wanting “all of the above” is probably an unrealistic and unhealthy option from a game design point of view.
Why should you be entitled to the best and safest form of income, while also enjoying the safety of the pack and other’s efforts, with very low effort of your own?

So my ability to make isk per hour doing tier 5+ abyssal’s in empire and crab beacons. The ship or ships to do the abyssals cost around a billion, unless I use throw-away fits that will die every so often.
To do a crab I have to pay 100m for the beacon, and then upwards of 6billion for a ship and fit to run it. I am locked in space for 5 minutes to activate the beacon. I am blinking on the map to people to show that a beacon is being run. Most rats that spawn will scramble and do very high damage.
Why on earth would I do that, which is one of the highest incomes in nullsec when I can go to empire and run abyssal’s with less isk worth of ships at risk, less chance of being caught by enemies and the kicker MAKE MORE ISK PER HOUR.
You are fooling yourself if you think this is how things should be.
