Any advices on how to play the game well when your native language is not supported in the client?

Or Japanese, Russian, German or any of the supported languages

Or perhaps CCP could leave simplified Chinese as a supported language, because last I checked over 2 billion people spoke it, and not all of them live in China.

I myself am not a Chinese speaker, I can barely speak English and that is my native tongue.

English is my second language after Gibberish

Pretty sure there is a Chinese server with all Chinese players.

Asking CCP to support something that the official government of China does not is really asking too much.

These colors don’t run!

I have to strongly disagree with that. Most of them do not like bots or exploits. They condemned me for talking about this mostly because they are still not able to accept the fact CCP is taking action in this grey area, while many people also find this to be an opportunity to create division and conflict in my former alliance. Those who actually use bots can look for whatever bots they want without thinking about localization. Anyway, talking about people’s motives won’t help situation, so let’s move on to the solution. I just saw on tieba today an explanation of what right click menu means. I think right click is a very important and effective tool to understand the game. Keep up the good work!

If it moves shoot it,works for most of Eve

That’s how you fall into traps of baiters too

Always have more friends than the hostiles who lay the trap.

My advice overall would be to set up a strong corp structure with your best bilingual folks as leaders and diplomatic relations with the rest of EvE.

From there have your best PvP/PvE guys create standardized corp fits for each situation so that anyone can easily pick them up. Use set name on corp built ships to define them simply ‘Armour Blaster Brawler’ for instance, but in native language. This way your corpies know roughly how to use the ship.

Run group PvE sessions to teach folks thehow and why of sites/missions.

Run roams to get them used to the ships and their performance envelopes.

If done correctly this will actually give you an advantage of a very strong close knit corp.

Good news for those who don’t understand English:
In the March patch CCP added a red ! on options that can destroy your items/mails. Think twice before clicking it!
