It has been a couple weeks since I purchased a recustomization and made a new look for my capsuleer. The profile picture, how others see me, and so on, is still the old one. How long will it take for it to update? This seems like an unreasonable amount of time.

Should be virtually instant for others, you’ll need to clear your cache to see it yourself but even if you don’t it should show up within a couple of days. After a couple of weeks my guess is you either forgot to save the changes or it’s time to submit a support ticket!
Reset the cache and redid the portrait in-game. Seems to have worked.
This is the step you needed to do IIRC.
