I was hoping for a rather diplomatic response in the vein of your Lord Admiral, but I do understand that you Sarumites can be quite passionate about foreigners pointing out certain aspects of the Empire that may be somewhat inconvenient. For example, breaches of international convention, like what we are witnessing in the border regions.
Is it though? Does the Empire need to remain vigilant against the State, which has shown very little to no hostile intent against your nation and has indeed co-operated on technological and economic affairs that has benefitted the both of us?
And what of the Federation, that has committed no offensive actions in Imperial space since the assault on Kador Prime by the Federation Navy, which appeared to have been sanctioned by the highest authorities in the Empire due to the lack of resistance from the Imperial Fleet. Which was really a retaliation from one of your own acting unilaterally, perhaps a trend we are seeing reassert itself?
I care little for the pontification and I do appreciate that the Imperial authorities are in the midst of a crackdown of rogue elements within their territory, but I will make it clear that the institution of slavery is anathema to the State, the Federation and the Republic and it was only due to the efforts of the RJD that we were made aware of the scale of what was going on. It does not bode well for cordial foreign relations with either of these entities if bandits and criminal gangs are reiving the territories that share a border with the Empire, especially as they are using vessels designed primarily for the taking of fresh slaves and sourced apparently from the surplus of Royal House security forces.
Yes, some ally this Caldari is. An ally that desires to see international convention that the Empire has agreed to upheld, and the sovereignty of the State and the Federation, one which you seem to cherish so much for the Empire, inviolate.
Despite current associations, I congratulate the Society in its determination to help those affected. Its best to just ignore the “Nattering nabobs of negativism.”
Imperial Pharmacy has declared act of Ipharial Host! in this matter. All corporations born from the Imperial Pharmacy are obliged to help us in this matter.
While most of the corporations have been vanished, it is reasonable to predict that second and fifth founding corporations are all who answer this call.
They will remember the blood and determination of their master, that is me. They will honor the Ipharial Pact, that is guarded by living saint that is me. Ipharial Host will gather at the first time in years.
SIBS is still operational and under restructuring in the capsuleer divisions. In fact our humanitarian work goes all around the year, despite the recent elevated efforts from the Republic making the issue resurface quite en vogue the past week. We never had been ones for demanding the spotlight other than what is necessary.
I would advice caution over false public statements Mademoiselle Priano, they make you seem ill informed by yours.
Best of luck to your endeavors, despite political differences across the spectrum, the safety of all people should be a given common understanding especially to us capsuleers which we have an apparent elevated status of power among our circles.
