There’s also an observation that an unusual percentage of capsuleers seem to be traumatized-but-functional in some manner before entering training (orphaned, from dysfunctional clans, combat veterans, former slaves, disaster survivors etc). So that correlation between exceptional psyche and pod compatibility could run both ways.

I really can’t help it if the company felt manipulation, a reduced fear complex, and the willingness to receive gratification by pulling out fingernails between waterboarding were required traits at the time I was bred.

However, personally, I think I coped well to become an egger. All that you are is just a narrative you tell yourself anyway. It’s just a construct, a paradigm of self, so just relax and enjoy the here and now because the past you does not matter and the future you is whatever you decide.
