Are Standard Ores returning to moon mining?

I were fooling around on SISI and started a moon extraction and noticed that some standard ores was expected in the output… Today I /moveme to J152820 and probed all the moons, every moon had at least 1 standard ore in the +15% version like Stable Veldspar… One example is the Planet VII - Moon 7 which was probed to have Brilliant Gneiss 0.21 - Chromite 0.22 - Jet Ochre 0.28 - Pellucid Crokite 0.29… Is this a SISI thing or could I have missed something, or could it be a sign for what is coming in the future?

It could be a bug, but it also could be a sign i guess?.

It would be a very welcome change in my opinion, it’s not like you can’t get around the shortage by purchasing compressed X in highsec, but in the name of all those who liked to produce nearly everything from scratch inside their settled system, this would be a boon. I would’ve been happy with a tiny chromatic rock featuring those few minerals you need for gas reactions, but this would be even better!

Plus it’s not like the few pursuing that activity in w-space have much of a footprint on the market in the first place.

It would be a great way to fix hisec moons that have been rendered useless, and to give an incentive to any moon miner. The prices of the goo have dropped in the 50-75% range within months.

Anyway I wouldn´t be very excited about it, there has been some reports previously of standard ore findings in moon pulsl on SiSi for a time and have not meant nothing. Maybe it´s a bug or maybe the last SiSi copy was before the ore change.

CCP have told us to expect dynamic redistribution of resources. Randomly adding some standard ores that aren’t usually available in the region to a moon frack would be an interesting way to achieve that with relatively low development cost.

I am starting to like how this could affect how systems are valued… It would add an extra dimension to the moons, so it isn’t only moon goo, but also if a system have access to unavailable ores for a given region… Could be a great conflict driver both for null.sec and high.sec, not really sure about low.sec and w-space…

But if it has to have some kind of Dynamic redistribution I am not really sure I see how that would fit in with moons… a Lootbox style system, so you get a random ore at Chunk detonation, does not sounds great to me…

It would be nice if this was part of the dynamic resources, like a second type of jackpot. But with the scans shown, each moon has a high percentage of ore, so I assume it is a bug or bad roll-back.

The moon thing seems to be a prank more than anything.

Sisi never had the moon ore changes applied to it, so you’re looking at old data.

I didn’t knew that the moon ore changes were never applied to SISI…
What a bummer, hoped to get some hints or clarity to what CCP has planned for resource harvesting…
Anyway, thank you for clearing this up for me =)
