Free-to-play cash-grab micro-transaction-filled chinese-developer-produced mobile games clearly aimed towards the chinese market where people pay to play video games to escape their horrible realities usually are.

It’s not a game. It’s a tech-demo. They are testing their cloud-based game-engine that would allow Eve to get rid of some of the bottlenecks that regular game-engines have and even possibly get rid of TiDi in the long run. That’s why CCP has been so interested in it.

I understand what you’re saying…but the competition to win a free trip made it a game. Did you participate?

Yeah I did take part. Didn’t do very well, but I was there more to see the whole thing and considering what it is, it was surprisingly stable and running well.
