I’ve been out of the game for a quite a while and just logging in to check it back out and re-learn some stuff.
Checking out my assets in my currently docked station, I have an item called Asset Safety Wrap in my Asset Deliveries category. The icon is of a small container. I can’t open it or move it and the Show Info only says “Asset Safety Wrap.” The only options when I right-click are Show Info or Trash. I do remember having an Astra in the system, but I took it down prior to logging off for my extended break.
Is this container something I should keep? Is there any way for me to see what’s inside before I decide to trash it?

Doing so without first transporting all the items/ships you had there would have triggered Asset Safety.
You should have the option to see the content of the Safety wrap. The cost to retrieve items from the Safety Wrap is 15% of the item(s) value.
Click the Asset Safety tab in the Assets window. You may also have to travel to the Station where it was transported.
I do remember emptying everything first. It was in HS, so nothing was left inside and it all went into the NPC station.

I can’t open it and when I right-click the container name under under Asset Deliveries and open in a new window, it just says No Inventory Location Selected.
I did have a SECOND safety wrap that did have some fuel stuff in it, but I was able to open it and empty that out just fine,
Did you try to drag the container into the item hangar?
Can’t remember how long it takes for the Assets Safety to transfer items, though I do remember within the first 2 days you can change the station to which it is delivered (within system) and after that it takes I think 2 weeks?
All the Asset Safety containers I have are in my Assets - not listed in the “Asset Safety” tab.
So, it sort of sounds like you may have to make a support ticket.
Yeah, I tried doing that, but to no avail. I get the message “Cannot move item from that location”
You need to be in the station where the container is, are you?
Yup. Docked and in a ship in the same station as the container.
I’d submit a support ticket at this point.
Thanks for trying. Just getting back into the game after a 7 year break. Trying to re-learn all the stuff. I’ll contact support.

It was a filter that prevented the display. I was able to recover them without problem.
Edit: Also clicking the asset safety wrap on the left hand side instead of the container on the right might also help with the issue (with or without the filter mentioned above).
