At what point can you turn down missions consistently without a significant hit to standings?

For context; I’m trying to do burner missions in null. I have several level 4 agents in the system.

I’ve read of people being able to keep turning down missions just so they can do more burners.

I declined a mission and the standings hit was significant in that it would’ve taken me 3 missions to recoup the lost.

My standings towards the pirate faction is -0.5
Towards the NPC Corp: 8.0
Towards the agents: 4.0

As long as you have high faction, you can decline multiple missions. You take a -0.001 hit to faction so as long as its high like 7 or 8 modified you should be good. Do your pirate arcs

Be mindful though to the agent standing that it doesnt drop too much.

Ah pirate burners. Train crim connections to 5 and do your arc. Depending on the pirate faction, you can raise or pay to have raised, the corp that gives access to the arc. Ex ytiri at 3.00 will let you run the pirate arc

Oh wow. Didn’t realize faction standings needed to be that high.

Remind me again what the agent standings need to be before they can no longer give missions?

-2 is the typical death line

Tbh im not totally sure on the reduction for pirate factions. We typically dont do pirate missions. Once faction drops below 5.00 modified, you cant run any corp unless you have high enough standings
