I haven’t done real PvP in a long time but my killboard now is a anti-ganking killboard what did it think you would find , just like gankers is mostly ventures and the likes. The KB refleks where you live and what you do in eve.
Have you played very long because you sure seem unsure of some basic stuff maybe a new ish player . Not even going to waste my time looking you up.

That’s certainly a nice pile of word salad that has nothing to do with the fact that you posted a killboard link to a kill where you failed to stop the gank. Anti-ganking is a pathetic failure.

I find it more amusing that with two reasonably intelligent people playing, the game of tic tac toe is unwinnable and will always end in a stalemate.

Wrong. Far too simple an answer for a far too complex concept.
The game is…rather WAS, designed to encourage players to get involved with the “good vs. evil” (subjectively, of course) mechanic of the game. The player creates the universe and the content within it. There are other games for those who like PvE. Eve was not one of them.

MB, take a look at my char. I too, am one of the “Evil” ones.
I’ve been around long enough to know that some carebear, anti-ganker, or anti-pvp player will go straight to “I just want to play without forced conflict” … hence the reference to PvE, because in essence, that’s the word for what they want.
So is Eve all but dead now?
I misunderstood, I think as griefers, we were worse than CODE. With no concord response like today, I would just alpha someone in passing and be on my merry way.

It just dawned on me that many people may miss understand the word anti-ganker , I supposed it can have two meanings .

people who think ganking should not be a form of game play and stopped

people who kill , attack and foil any gankers they find . Ganking is part of Eve and it’s up to us to fight it ,not to whinge and whine.
This game is about spaceships with weapons of mass destruction , I know where mine are aimed at .
Even if you don’t like to fight your mining and industry is all aimed at making more guns ammo and ships, let the inferno continue…

As for back-stabbing and lies, both sides can play that game I think, just like both sides can PvP and PvE. Gankers getting ganked, lol. Is that poetic justice?

Sure. I get anti-ganking aimed at protecting your own operations, that’s just basic self defense. But why do you anti-gank on behalf of random losers who are too lazy and/or stupid to defend themselves? Survival of the fittest, leave them to die and move your own ships through while CONCORD is finishing off the gankers.

I’ve just been reading this thread because it’s entertaining. Other than their roleplay, I can only assume they like the free killmails and no repercussions.

Just because eve has no rules on humanity and decency it doesn’t mean they should be abandoned.
I don’t judging weather the gankers targets are asshats or not ,odds say some must be, if gankers form a fleet we try to counter it, we, our selfies are target’s and one out of position ship or a lapse of concentration and many gankers will pounce on us.
Like all things in Eve some nights can be boring but others well it’s like hell it’s self has appeared
Doing AG stuff works for me I don’t have a lot of Eve time like some people in eve do. Just shows no matter how much time you have you can make a difference.
I quite enjoy finding new ways to fight these pirates, experimenting with ships and fits ,new tactics for our fleets to try but what surprises me is how people put up with these hot beds of criminal activity ,one right nextdoor to Rens two close to Jita ,all the hubs have them and many people just say " oh it’s not my concern" but then get salty when ganked .

I said it before, and I’ll say it again: this is the EVE equivalent of going out to a savanna, spotting a pride of lions stalking a gazelle, and scaring them away with your jeep because “oh that poor defenseless gazelle! we need to do something to save it!”
I understand if someone’s doing it to protect their livestock, but this is just needlessly interfering with nature, lol. It’s like…let’s say you’re successful. Okay, all the lions (gankers) have starved to death. Now you have a bunch of prey animals (gank victims) multiplying and consuming everything in sight. Minerals and LP items are nearly worthless, and systems are full of people insulting each other’s mothers for the right to mine the last remaining asteroid or kill the last remaining rat. Does EVE become a better place if this happens?
If anything, ganking needs to be nurtured, not inhibited, right now. It’s the only thing left that pushes players out of high-sec and into other areas of space, in order for them to engage in the game’s entire economy.
