It’s quite literally the lowest-hanging fruit method of trolling that relies on eliciting pity instead of anger. It’s like getting into an argument with someone on the street, and they say “oh yeah!?” and start hitting themselves in the face.

Not subbed and not playing as an Alpha until May 2021 as a cost to CCP for poor forum management. Though I am keeping an eye on the game. This time I am not missing it at all.
I have not said for definite that I am quitting Eve, but it is looking more and more likely.

Wow, that’s pretty hardcore right there. As far as evaluating the merits of a video game is concerned, that’s only about one step removed from a boycott of the product because of a disagreement with regard to the developer office’s Feng Shui.
“Ban the people I don’t like or I’ll quit” isn’t a viable negotiation strategy outside of being someone’s controlling girlfriend, or possibly being Kim Jong Un’s sister. Good luck with that.
