Sigh, how do players know what your safety setting is? How is setting your safety to red painting a target on you? You clearly are just trolling at this point. People tried to help you, but you are either not listening to them or you don’t have the reading comprehension level required to effectively communicate. Safety settings don’t affect how other players see your ship.
In fact nobody can see what safety settings you have until you choose to take an action that requires a certain safety setting. But the thing that allows players to engage you at that point isn’t your safety setting, it’s the action you took to get a suspect or criminal flag.
Flying with yellow or red safeties in HS space won’t allow players to engage you.
It only prevents you from making mistakes that could allow players to engage you. Don’t make mistakes and you can safely switch on red safeties for a moment.

I write cryptically intentionally. How can multiple wrong assumptions then jump to the conclusions that “it must be trollin” not realise it might be you don’t have the keys to decrypt my writing?
I also didn’t want or need to react negatively, so excuse me for that. I appreciated way more the little buff adjustments to various small ships than you can imagine these few days, than suffered from the Vargur loss of falloff.
When you write cryptically you are not always going to get understood.. Suggestion and don’t.. But that is just a suggestion.
