Don’t blame yourself too much for mistakes instead learn from them if there is something to learn and carry on. You just harm yourself with a guilt ridden mindset that punishes you for your own mistakes. Nobody’s perfect so mistakes happen both in-game and real-life, that is just the nature of being a human, it happens.

Uriel, you are certainly right about that…and this game gives you a major league lesson in that mindset… It wasn’t so much that I lost some loaded ships…but rather discouraged that I couldn’t get my act together to use what I had properly in the heat of battle… This is one of the shortfalls of being a solo player…lack of battle experience outside of missions… So I’m climbing back on the horse to try again… I can’t let this game beat me…

My hands don’t shake anymore but you seem like the type to get over that part. I’m probably much older and that’s the only reason I seem to have the advantage. Add to that I started as a pvp’er. So don’t give up.
There used to be “Top Gun” corps that would teach you pvp. I don’t know if they still exist?

Win, lose or draw, the game was designed from the start to be a game where your hands should have been shaking at some point in the night. Last time I worried was when making a run in a DST of all things! I don’t need to AG. It’s much more fun to piss them off as you keep warping away. 
I never really got past that part because of my lack of pvp experience… I was still kinda freezing up like a deer in headlights when the gangs jumped me… I really need to work on getting past that part of it…

That’s true… Youtubers are trashing the hell out of the game now…and alot of it is Star Citizen fan boys trying to get players over to the game for the $$$ to progress the game out of beta…
Thanks… I was thinking about something like that with a stripped character and a cheap ship…but I’ve been a loner and haven’t made any friends in the game… I’ve seen other commanders doing that at the stations… I will try to connect with you next week when I jump back in…
You can try asking around in trade hub chats like Dodixie for Gallente or Jita the largest one I see people sometimes do duels around the trade stations so worth asking around here and there to see if someone willing is online at the moment.
Wish dodixie was still alive.
