Blood-Stained Stars Epic Arc Every Drone Inside Feedback

Hello everyone, a GM suggested that I open a thread on this topic in order to get it discussed. It’s something quite minor so I’m writing this without many expectations either way.

I have recently (re)run the SoE epic arc and I have a minor suggestion to make about it:

In the mission An Economy Under Threat in Caldari space, you are required to bring a container of farming supplies to a warehouse near the drone infestation site (and destroy all drones, if you wish to), after which you can remotely complete the mission and also remotely accept the next, Every Drone Inside, and immediately enter warp to reach the next site… which was supposed to be exactly the same place you just were in last mission and warped out of, but somehow in a different pocket some AUs away. I am personally used to this kind of ‘mission logic’, but I can see this heavily breaking immersion for a new player.

At the end of Every Drone Inside, Immuri Asaka contacts you to let you know that the Sisters require your help urgently and you should head back, however unlike at other points in the arc (for example in the Derelik and Devoid sections of it), this time you still have to dock and talk to him in person to get the mission to go back to Arnon.

My simple suggestion: make players dock after Economy Under Threat in order to accept the next mission and then warp back to the drone infestation site in order to preserve immersion and rather allow remote completion of Every Drone Inside and let players remotely accept A Sense of Dread so that it doesn’t affect the overall player time required to complete the arc.

Thank you for your attention.
