Boosting standing with one faction without lowering it for others?

I need to boost my standing with Amarr but I want to be able to do this without lowering standings for the other factions or at least keep Amarr standings from going so low that I end up being attacked in Amarr space.

How can I do missions (or even just raise standing) with Amarr without negatively impacting the standings with the other factions I’ve worked hard to build up?

With the current game mechanics, there isn’t a way to remain neutral with others and take any one side.

My issue with the game’s faction standings is this, historically pirates were welcomed by one country when they plundered ships of the opposing faction. For example; if you attacked and looted French and Spanish ships, you were welcomed by the British. Also the reverse was true. Your standings grew with the empires because you attacked their enemies and looted their financial reserves. In Eve online however, as soon as you get reputation as being a pirate, your standing drops with all 4 factions.

If you are working the EDENCOM / TRIG standings check out this Hateless video.

Fly safe o7

So the epic arcs if you do them on rotation of every 90 days with each one, will keep you positive with each one.

Avoid storyline missions against the other factions. If you do storylines, makes sure its a pirate mission.

Buy standings, or be in a fleet with someone.
So its mechanically impossible if you are a tagalong in a fleet for you to get any negative hits for actions taken by the mission runner. Which is why the USIA works so well when we sell faction or corp standings, while we take hits, you guys dont.
