Brainstorming Blackops gameplay: How can it evolve and improve?

I’m gonna have to say either he doesnt, or his gameplay is getting people banned for saying something stupid enough to get them banned. Either way, pretty useless.

From watching an alliance defend its nodes against enemies the BLOPS would perform well in creating unexpected content.

When a node becomes available for capturing or defending often times the defender has the advantage as they can simply bubble up gates and turn on the system wide cyno jammers to keep most ships from jumping in, especially capital ships.

The BLOPS would be immune, to a point, to system wide cyno jammers. Without a special beacon dropped and anchored by any type of ship able to transport the beacon the BLOPS would not be able to drop into a system when a cyno jammer is up and active. But with the beacon up and anchored a BLOPS ship could penetrate the cyno jammer and drop into the system.

The beacon would appear on the overview instantly once anchored and would be able to be warped to directly. The beacon would appear as “anchoring” on the Overview and would take twenty seconds to anchor. The ship anchoring the beacon could not cloak for two minutes after deploying the beacon and would have a 75% velocity reduction for the entire 25 seconds that the beacon is anchoring allowing for a ship with probes to track it down. The beacon itself could not be destroyed until anchored however.

Once anchored the beacon would last for five minutes and allow a total of 450,000,000 kg of BLOPS battleship mass to pass through its gate before becoming inoperable.

Once in the system the BLOPS could deploy more beacons that would give bonuses to the anchoring time of beacon itself. Only two beacons could be deployed in a system by a BLOPS at a time.

The BLOPS would also have attack bonuses for Node warfare as well along with having Fleet Assistance Modules that would be geared towards reducing the velocity, tracking speed and optimal range on incoming carrier fighters. Only one Fleet Assistance Module could be active at a time.

Most of the time those trolling the forums are either station campers or bots. Just check their names on zkillboard to see if they are PvP active.

this post just shows you don’t understand how to use these ships and want them to be something they are not. With the changes to t3 logistics blops gangs became extremely powerful at hitting above their weight and outnumbered when dealing with unprepared opponents. Traditional logistics would make blops extremely broken. The battleships themselfs should only be used when you have small numbers mashing them viable in larger fights would cause them to snowball making their jump drive problematic.

Mass restrictions on the bridge is done to reduce the viability of buffer tank do to how well these fleets synergies with utility builds.

Finally the widow has received a net buff for anyone using them properly only people who were using them as an over sized falcon suffered.
