When its the haulers that explode the economy is hurt
No, it isnāt. Because that hauler, all of its modules, and all of its cargo has to be replaced by players. Players who make their ISK by building haulers and modulesā¦
thatsā¦not the same thingā¦
Ok then
Gankers are good for the economy as well, because all of those Catalysts and modules have to be replaced after every gank.
Yea and it just gets replaced like magic, can just snap ur fingers and 30 new catas and a new freighter appears on the market. Cheaper too?
so i want to know, what is your whole premise with joining EVE and finding every little thing offensive that you make unusual (iāll be nice and use that word) requests or argue that everything you are suggesting is better for a game thats been going 20 yrs, than what we have now?
work went into making all that⦠players made all that.
Well, if that ever becomes a thing, I will skill inject a few alts into Cenotpahs and bump you with a Machariel until you die. Profit
If what happens? 1.6M buffer fit on freighter? Bring it on.
All the gankers have to do is keep sending sacrificial rookie ships with scrams to keep you there until they have enough ships gathered to kill youā¦

You really know nothing about this game, or its industry side of things do you son?
Economists donāt run around with freighters. If they bother to move the stuff themselves rather then outsourcing the job, they blockade run.
The economists make money not by getting things moved, but by discovering a market and providing for it, of cause before the competition does.
If the economist outsources the hauling job, a good hauler pilot reaches amarr from jita in 10 stargate / wormhole transitions which takes him about 5 minutes. The bulky stuff is moved by jump freighters which take less jumps to amarr, but due to jump fatigue will take them about an hour nevertheless. An AFK freighter on the other hand takes half a day for that route. So which economic opportunity can it try to handle w/o the competition having satisfied any demand before the freighter reaches its destination?
This option existed for all times: Go to the PVP section and ask to hire mercenaries that protect your autopiloting semi-capital. For a fair share, you can buy a quite powerfull defense fleet that will spoil all but the most dedicated ganks.
It takes an industrialist around 5 minutes of actual interactive āplayingā get 30 catties and a full set of T2 mods for them. Catties usually donāt have full T2 fits though, most items are meta or T1, which reduces the time taken. Talos on the other hand ⦠and Nagas ⦠and Bombers ⦠thatās the good stuff.
Wanna buy some? If you buy enough I can offer them below Jita Buy in Rens. If you haul them to wherever you want to see explosions and sell them to gankers there at Jita sell that will not only provide you with the trade margin, but someone will lose his ship, which means there is odds a hauling contract for a new ship and fitting for it will be created in consequence, which you can run for profit. Got a deal?
