Can i get banned when i advertise for a donation?

Hi  when i theoreticaly make an advert that i trade plex for an online item BUT costumers CAN donate me money anyway is it sill count as ISK spam?

i just want to know if i CAN inform my customers ingame that they CAN donate me money…but are such conversations forbidden?

i also not would include the information bout a donation option into the advertisement only in the private conversation…so are mentioning of donation options ok?

Can you maybe be more clear?

Nothing you typed makes a lot of sense. I assume you are not talking real money since that will get you banned.

Maybe log a ticket in support for GM advice.

This sounds straight up like RMT. You shouldnt be trading plex for any item not in game.

Refer to this from the content creator ToU

Monetization – you can monetize the content by generating revenue through appropriate passive advertisement, e.g., pre-roll video ads, website ads, sponsor ad overlays. Soliciting personal donations or offering subscription-based content is also permissible, as long as a) this does not interfere with everyone’s ability to view the content, b) is in line with the terms of use of the platform used, and c) features unique content created by you in the form of commentary, gameplay, graphics, animations, or cosplay.

This is the same person that posted about PLEX for real money RMT yesterday and got his post locked. He’s just trying to find a way to circumvent it being called RMT…

Yeah, I don’t know if this guy is trying to figure out ways to RMT without getting banned or not, but I figured I’d give you guys a heads up, and let you deal with it.

Hello! Selling in game items is also called Real Money Trading, and is one of the fastest ways to get banned. In the Terms of Service, please refer to sections 9 through 13, which I will repost below for you.

  1. You may not advertise, employ, market, or promote any form of solicitation – including pyramid schemes and chain letters – in the EVE Online game world or on the website.

  2. You may not market, sell, advertise, promote, solicit or otherwise arrange for the exchange or transfer of items in the game or other game services unless it is for in-game sales of in-game services or items.

  3. The advertisement or sale of out of game goods and services not directly related to EVE Online is prohibited. The only out of game goods and services which can be advertised or sold for in-game currency or assets are the following: EVE forum signature creation, EVE related websites, EVE related artwork, third party voice communication server hosting, or EVE Time Codes.

  4. You may not arrange for the exchange or transfer of any illegal or pirated software or other contraband while you are using the EVE Online client, servers or website.

  5. You may not transmit or upload through the EVE Online client, server or website any copyrighted material that you do not own all rights to without the express written permission of the author or copyright holder.

In addition, here is a forum rule for you:

2. Specifically restricted content.

EVE Online holds ESRB Teen and PEGI 12 ratings. All content posted to the EVE Online forums must be teen rated.

In addition to this, the EVE Online forums are not for discussion of real life current affairs, news, politics or religion. Discussion should revolve around EVE Online and its community.

For these reasons, specific content is prohibited on the EVE Online forums. These are:

  • Pornography
  • Profanity
  • Real Money Trading (RMT)
  • Discussion of Warnings & Bans
  • Discussion of Moderation
  • Private communications with CCP
  • In-Game Bugs & Exploits
  • Real World Religion
  • Real World Politics
  • Content that distorts the forum layout

I am going to close this thread and issue any moderation as needed now. I recommend not attempting blatant or, for that matter, any RMT in the future. Thank you.

Closed.
