The harsher the lesson the more engraved it will be. 
Somewhere out there in the vast nothingness of space,
Somewhere far away in space and time,
Staring upward at the gleaming stars in the obsidian sky.
Look around for an eve scout container I sometimes see them floating in space, they might have some probes and a launcher to get you out, if you are in a cheap ship just self destruct.
Loss is acceptable if you are going to waste a lot of time waiting for a rescue.
