Saw this video while doom scrolling, and stumbling across a reddit post on google about how the chinese Eve server has cooler ships. And I have to agree can we get some of this stuff in TQ?

Just because they have a couple of new hulls doesn’t mean they’re awesome.
What roles do they fill? What’s the balance in Serenity like and how do these ships fit in? Would they actually be an improvement in Tranquility or is this just a request for having new things because they’re new?

They don’t need to fill a role. You people and roles. they just need to look cool and new, instead of the copy paste stuff we have now with different paint schemes and a higher price tag.

I hear the Asian market also wants anime decorations on their hulls, so I wouldn’t exactly look to them for design guidance.
What’s ‘awesome’ about it/them? I checked out the first 3 min, and it said nothing about the ships or what they were for. Just the looks then? I think it’s the ‘‘grass is greener on the other side’’ syndrome.
If you’re the type to be fooled by the looks, then go put some makeup on yours. Paragon Hub is on TQ. The rest of us want something deeper and more meaningful than just the looks.

The Colossus class is interesting, though (larger than a battleship; smaller than a capital). Concord drone Marauder? Yes please.
Maybe FC will sell AT ships in the CA$H shop for thousands of dollars.

Dang, if you couldn’t tell what they were for by looking at them, Eve might be too advanced for you.
The ones I was interested in, were the Mordu Legion Collossus, the SOE Collosus, and the ORE Collossus(which trades boosting for mining, in extreme hostile enviroments)
Since the Chinese server is ultra hard to find info on, on Google and other search engines I used, even on the chinese side of the internet, Not sure what the exact stats and bonuses of these ships are.
I heard they also have a drone boat marauder, which TQ players have been asking for since rubicon, and last I checked, a decent portion of TQ players wanted cat ears
Only on some of the coolest hull designs, which the TQ team, seem to be unable to match.
Except they don’t look good. At all.
TQ has no shortage of ugly ships, just look at the Imicus, but as a rule when CCP adds something new, it looks good. CCP Shanghai’s products, not so much. In fact most of them look downright amateurish, it’s like comparing concept art on ArtStation to fanart on DeviantArt.
We absolutely don’t need the colossus ship class. Marauders are evidently already hard for CCP to balance. I guess I’d be cool with bringing over the cat ears though, if Serenity actually has them. I’ve never seen such a thing on Serenity portraits on their killboard, so I rather doubt they actually have them.

We do not need cat ears and the Imicus looks lovely in a unique way, don’t touch my favourite frigate. Thanks!
