The new forum looks really good, but i have the same problem what i had with the Old one. Bright text on a dark background hurts my eyes. So can we have a dark text on a bright background, selectable theme? If its needed i will do a css/less for it.

Twitter has a day and night theme and maybe that’s not a bad idea! It’s automatic too

At least, if want to create ugly, making eye pain white give us choice what to use.

White on screen, when the sun is down, without a blue light filter = bad for eyes and the brain. Does that mean most people should have at least software to filter out the excess blue light? Yes! Does that mean most people use at least such software, or glasses? No.
There’s a reason why dark themes and night modes started popping up everywhere.
I guess optional is fine, but holy ■■■■ don’t make it the default.

What is there to check? Its very common to have one dark and one lighter version. I do agree that the forum is hard to look at, at least when compared to the old one. It should be a simple fix, not like anyone hold sovereignty over the color palette on the forums?
