This is about potentials and conditions, which, while true for potential at the same time,
are only either one or the other ,
when verified.
Such as a true of false variable for a logic evaluation.
Such that, while both values apply to the logical operation,
only one at a time can be achieved.
While both are true at the same,
only one exists at any exact time, and, when verifying which one it is.
In this case,
once the potential reached a certain state,
it is not expected to revert back to the previous one,
even though it was potentially possible before.
Such as,
even though cats have 9 lives,
and, a stitch in time saves 9,
the cat will only die once, for whatever reason.
The mechanisms and systems inside the box are also set according to rules,
which, in time, are triggered.

I thint it was frend of a cat. Cats also can carry small kittens in such a way. And its a she, so may treat it as a kitten.
