My cat assures me that if he can see the bottom of his food dish it counts as empty, regardless of how much food is piled around the edge.

Let’s agree that cats are weird, OK? I mean, it’s resting on a bloody piano while it’s been played, felted wooden hammers banging on metal wires right by its head, and the four pawed furry is literally purring in bliss!
