CCP and the Driffters

Except it’s CCP’s sandbox…we just play in it.

Who are influenced by organised player lobbies, who created the environment that lead to the current situation. So yes, self inflicted.

Stagnation come from not having any points of frictions due to plentiful resources…everything else is secondary.

Which was directly brought about by the null lobby demanding all the resources needed to build be in local null space, so trade wasn’t required.
So thank you for agreeing with me that it was self inflicted.

Yes yes…null runs the servers…they have a key and all the passwords. Thanks for sharing.

Good post, I like the comment about comparing it to doing FOB’s in Maller’s, made me chuckle, because I spent 3.9bn on my FOB fleet and I am so glad I did as I can now remove them whenever they appear.

From what I read is that the Drifters have split up into small raiding fleets that attack ratters, being three ships with 5k DPS. This does make it interesting in that people will need to gang up, not do things solo as they largely do in nullsec.

I used to use two VNI’s in Foresaken Hubs, mainly so that if someone came in in a ceptor he would die pretty quickly. At this point I would likely just use two carriers, because they would be able to remove that skirmish Drifter gang, though I am not at all sure about the range they sit at and of course how quickly they switch to the fighters. Prior to that it was a bit oppressive though.

Though I hope CCP keep adjusting it so nullsec is dangerous and unpredictable.

Seriously, get your priorities sorted. I’ve lost several relatives to cancer ove rthe years, including one very recently. To show such a lack of empathy to the doubtless thousands of people here who’ve lost friends and relatives to a major killer disease, in order to complain about a game mechanic you disagree with, should not be allowed to pass without comment.

To suggest the poster should be ‘given a pass’ on such comments because ‘he roams and does small gangs’ shows even more of a lack of respect for the feelings of other than the original (probably thoughtless) post.

Your non-existent level of empathy is noted, but comes as no surprise having seen you post on here before. FOAD

I have no empathy with people like you, with your false outrage and virtue signalling.

Using cancer as a way to score points on the forums against people you dont agree with is pretty low.

And thats even by my standards.

Leave it at home, mate, its not worth it.

It’s as always in this forum…the bitterevets liking their posts, may they be correct or not just because of it and claiming to be some kind of majority which are they not but because of SOOOOOO many likes it must be true…

They are FAR more people that actually LIKE CCP’s decision to mix up and stir null around than just the few bittervets that desperately try to claim they are the majority…

To CCP we yell : Carry on…let them actually WORK for their money

And to the vets we say : If you have a problem with this then maybe this game is not for you and you should leave, the same YOU said to every “carebear” for 15 years now…“get used to it or leave”

I love this kind of irony

Let him get some easy likes please. No harm in that.

Players have had it easy since 2003 with regard to NPC grinding. At one point before Sansha incursion you only needed 250dps to beat any NPC which I felt was a bit silly. It’s about time CCP turned the heat up on us.

Money/Isk leaving the game is a valid business tactic because it can prompt plex purchases, and it can provide industrialists with trade opportunities and generally create a demand within the Eve economy.

Hmmm, another dude who thinks he can dictate to CCP.

I promise you chaining marauders would ez face roll drifters. But wait, that would mean investing in actual ships with actual fits for an actual defense. It’s all hyperbole from cheap NS pilots that have no right to be in NS in the first place.

This is one of the dumbest things I’ve read all year. Did you know that in nullsec there exists this ship class called ‘Capital’ which are not only cheaper then marauders but better at everything besides on grid mobility?

Danger is something that you can counter if you are smart about it, there is no counter to drifters that insta target/point and blap you.

CCP knows null is broken. It’s meant to be high risk, high reward space. But players are so risk averse that they’ve turned it into turbo farm land where they’ve managed to eliminate most of the risk side of the equation through everyone allying together. Local chat doesn’t help either. Should be regional chat, so that people can’t use local as a tool to know when enemies are close by.

Are they burning the null world to the ground, in order to build a better one? Whatever they’re planning, if they don’t bring drastic change and soon this game will end up as serenity did.
