hahhahhahhahahha. dude. you have zero clue what you’re taliking about.
we’ve had upkeep and maintenance required for a very long time. in fact, we have people that specialize in such. but now, you’re forcing them to basically respond at all hours to random, buggy nps attacks that have LITERALLY no reward. meanwhile, CCP’s propoganda/lore piece frames it as attacking low power structures and bot, when it really ahs no impact on either any more than regular players and active structures.
CCP is pretty clearly trying to drive players out of nullsec for some reason, but all they’ll do, is bite the hand that feeds them. null battles are some of the biggest advertising points for ccp. but now? we’re not going to have any. the super fleets need to stay home to respond to any escalations by the drifters. we’re not able to deploy and fight each other. so what do you get? A BLUE DONUT. this is how you get people to blue each other: a common threat.

Ah, so there’s the “real” issue. The fact that there’s “no reward”. Spodbrain must have gotten to you HARD since it seems like at the end of the day, the only thing you care about is the “reward”.
If it doesn’t make you any isk, it’s suddenly the end of EVE Online.

In honesty ‘big battles’ might be good news, but thats rarely what people want to actually do; moaning and b’ing about this and that is what has led us down this path. When people watch eve players streaming its not the blob that usually attracts; its the solo and microgangs… but nullsec folks basically moaning everytime something doesnt favour big blobs and advocating change for lazy playstyles… nah, eve does not need you.
But then it doesnt matter, drifter balls in null isnt going to bring the content back to null; not when groups like test blue goons when their afraid. Not when large swathes of pvpers like skillu are leaving the game over boring timer mechanics which i thought fozzie sov was designed to fix… til they changed it to self repairing bs.
but w/e, this forums full of whiney little trolls anyway.

At the end of the day, players will have to adapt or die.
The only thing that remains is how much balls CCP has and whether or not they’re willing to give up total control of the game to some whiney carebears or whether they’re gonna take back EVE Online as actual developers.

lol, dude. it’s supposed to be harder because of the player interaction, not because of some BS buggy OP NPCs that basically instagib anything they shoot at. they have carrier dps, frigate sig, ceptor speed and tracking. it’s absurd. they shoot you when yer cloaked, etc.

we are adapting. that’s why we’re doing what we are doing. it’s why we pulled back from wars. it’s BAD FOR THE ENTIRE GAME. it’s killing organized pvp because the pvpers have to mostly stay home and defend constantly against an OP opponent.

Yeah, because for the last 2 years, all major wars have been nothing more than posturing, resulting in a at most 2 major capital fights in extreme TiDi, and then one side decides “lol, okay, we lost” and everyone goes back to krabbing for another 10 months.
Because the current previous status quo was SO CONDUCIVE to nullsec conflict that the entire r/eve community is memeing about blue donuts and smaller pvp-centric alliances like SkillU are disbanding.
Get a grip, kid. Your safe little gameplay style has been finally kicked over and now this is nothing more than a tantrum. And instead of adapting, you’re threatening to cause a mess in highsec of all places, because daddy CCP isn’t letting you krab free of risk anymore.

PvP should not be wholly organized and thats a big issue in EvE right now, its all about timers and f1 fleets that often are blueballed anyway. Your confusing actual pvp with the type of carebear pvp that you enjoy; ie one where you dont actually have to know anything.
Also, jump clones are a thing.
Also, they all have enough alts and keepstars and enough spare caps.
Also, they dont have to stay behind and defend that space…
Stop being lazy, you wanted the space; work for it; godamn THESE drifters dont even have the powerful gun ffs.

Took you long enough to figure out which alliance I’m from. Great job.
It says that people, like normal functioning humans, will be more likely to err on the side of caution and take steps to figure out a new unknown threat before returning to normal.
Whatever happens after that isn’t for me to say since I’m not the one calling the shots in TEST. But I’m not the one taking my nullsec alliance into highsec to cry about it.
